In 2024, Ezycharge was acquired by Inforich, a Japanese publicly listed company and the world’s largest power bank sharing business. That acquisition led to a new name, a new chapter, and a bigger platform to operate from.
Today, ChargeSPOT continues to be led and operated by the same Australian team, now supported by the scale, technology, and investment of a global organisation, including investment from Bain Capital.
This positions ChargeSPOT to expand rapidly, while continuing to strengthen performance across every market it operates in.
In February 2026, Ezycharge officially rebranded as ChargeSPOT from Ezycharge, reflecting the evolution of the business and its global direction.

Following the acquisition, a new generation of ChargeSPOT power bank stations was designed and built in Australia to support global rollout.After a 12-month development and testing program, the new units were deployed in 2025.
